Card Stack Interface​

The heart of NGMI is the card stack - an intuitive swiping interface that makes evaluating content creators simple and fun.

Card Components​

Each creator card contains:

  • Profile image and name
  • Twitter/social handles
  • Bio information
  • NGMI score with trend indicator
  • Category tags
  • Swipe direction indicators

Swipe Mechanics​

NGMI uses natural swipe gestures with visual feedback:

  • Cards rotate and move as you drag them
  • Edge highlighting indicates potential actions
  • Swipe threshold provides a satisfying "commit" feeling
  • Emoji animations give feedback on successful swipes

User Preferences​

Swipe Direction Modes​

Choose how you want swipe directions to map to votes:

  • Normie Mode (Default)

    • Left = "Will Make It" (Decreases NGMI score)
    • Right = "NGMI" (Increases NGMI score)

  • OG Mode

    • Left = "NGMI" (Increases NGMI score)
    • Right = "Will Make It" (Decreases NGMI score)

Your choice is persistently saved between sessions.

Feed Customization​

  • Filter creators by category
  • Sort by newest, trending, or controversial
  • View specific platforms (Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

Research Mode​

When you discover a creator that needs closer examination, use Research Mode:

  1. Swipe DOWN on a creator card to add them to your research list
  2. Add personal notes and observations
  3. Track score changes over time
  4. Organize creators with private tags

Your research list is private and only visible to you.

Super Votes​

Super Votes allow you to have a stronger impact on a creator's NGMI score:

  • Limited daily allowance (typically 3 per day)
  • 5x the impact of standard votes
  • Use strategically for creators you feel strongly about
  • Visual indicator shows your remaining Super Votes

User Progression​

As you contribute to the platform, you'll gain:

  • Increased vote weight based on your reputation
  • Additional Super Votes
  • Expanded research list capacity
  • Verification capabilities

Creator Profiles​

Tapping on a creator card opens their detailed profile:

  • Comprehensive score breakdown
  • Voting history and trends
  • Connected social accounts
  • Category analysis
  • Community notes and resources

Mobile-First Design​

NGMI is designed for mobile first:

  • Responsive layout optimized for touch
  • Works on any modern smartphone browser
  • No app download required
  • Smooth animations and transitions
  • Limited data usage for efficient browsing
